The disk cannot be started in the Hikvision recorder

Recently, I have a problem that after restarting the recorder the disk cannot start. You hear it spinning and stopping every now and then. The system cannot detect it. It only helps to turn off the power supply plug from the recorder, turning off the switch on the back of the housing does not change anything. Recorder DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P, HDD 2 TB WD20PURZ. What can be the reason for this disk behavior?

Does the HDD check from the NVR indicate any problems withe the HDD?
Configuration -> Storage

I'd guess you will need to replace/try another HDD.
WD Purple HDD failures are very rare, but can happen.

The problem only occurs when restarting. During work, everything works, there are no errors.

I would still think it most likely that the problem is the drive.

I wonder why the problem does not disappear as I disconnect power from the disk but only from the recorder.
