"This channel has no substream..."

This is on a fairly new (to me) DS-2CD2387G2-LU on 5.7.19. Hooked to a 7608 I-series on 4.61.020. Out of the blue, with no changes on my part, I am now getting this message when doing the 3x3 live view. My other 7 cameras are fine. In camera management live view works just fine, as it does in HikConnect. Just live view via web interface is giving this error, no matter if I have it on substream or main stream. If I do single camera view via web interface, main stream does work but substream still does not work.

My settings in the camera re: substream resolution, frame rate, etc. are idential to all my other cameras. I've rebooted the camera, rebooted the NVR, nothing seems to work. Another interesting thing is that using web view and going into smart events, the feed works just fine.

Any ideas what to look for to fix this?

I downgraded this troublesome camera from 5.7.19 to 5.7.15 and it completely fixed the problem. No idea why. When I reloaded 5.7.19 it went back to the same substream problem, so maybe this is another bug in that firmware. So tired of all the problems with these 2387G2's....

I downgraded this troublesome camera from 5.7.19 to 5.7.15 and it completely fixed the problem. No idea why. When I reloaded 5.7.19 it went back to the same substream problem, so maybe this is another bug in that firmware. So tired of all the problems with these 2387G2's....

I've a combination of cams with 5.7.15 and 5.7.19 on mine and I've not noticed that problem but as mentioned there seem to be some weird bugs. Motion detection has stopped working on one of mine, I'll probably need to factory reset it. I imagine that after release of the new G3s, it won't be too long before the G2s go EOL.

One of my other G2's, at my front door, the intrusion detection has never, ever worked. Line detection is great. But intrusion is just completely busted. Firmware, reboot, factory reset, rebuild, nothing. It just doesn't work. I'm about to throw it in the garbage and go back to my 2347G1 at that location. I had those G1's up for 5 or 6 years without a single problem from any of them. Decided to buy three of these G2's several months ago and nothing but problems.
