Two CAM and Commute Plugin

I have two DS-2CD2555FWD-I IP CAMs. I can connect to them and login and playing live (network connection does no seems to be a problem with IE)
Looking at the bottom left I see the commute pluging combo box: one CAM can play only with mjpeg, the other with webcomponents. As far I can see I did not touch any video or image options.

Please shade some light

Do both cameras have the same firmware version?

If you click on Configuration > System Settings > Basic Information the firmware version and build date is noted there. The latest version of that camera (G1 platform) is 5.6.5
