unable to cut video played back or download files

Hello,

I'm not able to cut video or download file... I get error messages. I tried with 2 different PCs... sorry screenshots are in french (unable to get interface in english)

I'm able to view live and reccorded videos bit not to download it...

Any idea or suggestion?

I tried updating webcomponent.exe... with no success...

Thanks for your help, questions, experience, ideas...

I've find i often times use the Hik connect app for retrieval.

Hik's web app is buggy at best.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

What is weird is that I have 3 win 10 computers
Firts: can cut and dowload videos from web gui
Second and third can't.
Other difference, first does retain admin password when login, second and third do not.
And last difference, second and third computer have remaining message to install plugin (tried uninstalling/reinstaling, even with admin right, rebooting of course...)
 
Hi @MrDab

On the second and third PC, are you running the browser as an administrator, as not doing so can cause problems when trying to download footage?

What model is your NVR and which firmware version is it running?

Tried with Edge in admin (IE mode off course) with no effect.

Model: DS-7616NXI-I2 / S
firmware version: V4.61.050 build 220714
plug-in version: V3.0.7.44

Also I noted that my Bitwarden is unable to autofill login credentials... (Do not know if this fact is symptomatic...)
 
That is strange...

Have you tried Chrome?
Is iVMS-4200 an option?
Are all 3 PCs running the same version of Edge?

Also, there's newer firmware available which you can download at the bottom of this page - it's worth trying again with this installed:
 
Note that my NVR is EU, 2 weeks ago it was running last version...
IVMs is installed on an other computer but for remote access. It's not good for customer relationship and the trust in hik solution that I explain the customer that on a local network it works on one computer browser, not the others... The more I use HIK vision the more I regret this choice...

I will try with chrome... (thanks a lot for the your ideas)
