Unidentified network

Hi,

I am wanting to connect my laptop to my 4g dahua nvr 4104 to configure it by laptop,

It has A 3 network SIM card in it and I can see it working on the remote viewing software

When I plug the cat6 into my laptop from the nvr is says unidentified network, I have tried all online info such as disabling and enabling family controller adapter settings and shutting off firewall, changing ip settings to dhcp to configure automatically

Anyone any ideas how I can connect to the nvr?

Have you tried connecting both your laptop and the NVR to a network under the management of a router?
