Hi Everyone, I have just joined the forum and I am very impressed with the amount of knowledge and support available. I suppose my question will seem to be less technical than most, but I'm really stuck...anyway here goes, I do have a couple of indoor dome cameras, both powered by an attached usb cable. The cables are interchangeable with the cameras and also with a couple of mobile phones. I am wanting to ceiling mount one of the cameras, but the power lead is not long enough to reach the supply. I have always thought that usb leads were computer related and would have a complicated wiring set up. I need to have some sort of usb extension ( around 2 mtrs) so my question is .. Will any advertised extension or long lead be ok for my cctv? Any help in understanding my problem will be very much appreciated especially any recommendation on any particular one to buy.
