Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a user manual for a ds-2CD2745F-IS.

I've been all over the Hikvision website but cannot find any manual for this camera!!

That's a Chinese-market camera. It's exclusive to the Chinese region and isn't available internationally by authorised means.

The only manual for that camera to my understanding is not in English.

The closest comparison would be the DS-2CD2742FWD-I

Stupid question but how can you determine from the model number this is exclusive to the chinese region?

I assume that there will be no firmware upgrades for this (well, from Hikvision anyway)?

The 2xx5 cameras (2745 for example) are Asian-market only and aren't available internationally. Our equivalent is the 2xx2 series.

You definitely can't upgrade it with standard international firmware

From what I have seen the manuals are all pretty similar between models, enough to get you going.

If you have a specific thing that is not covered, then ask away.
