Wall mount for Hikvision DS-2CD2T87G2-L bullet camera?

Hi everyone,

I need an advice on mounting my DS-2CD2T87G2-L cameras on the house wall.

I tried mounting directly on the wall and also using the junction box but the camera is still too close to the wall. The camera is to cover the side of the house so ideally would be to have an arm mount that allows the camera to have 90 degrees with the wall and to be further from the wall.
I don’t know what arm mount would be strong and stable enough for this camera.

Any suggestions?

This is one of the reasons we don't usually recommend bullet cameras if you want to have it looking along the wall it is mounted to.

Turret & Dome cameras more commonly support wall bracket mounting so that they can be perpendicular to the wall.

There isn't a Hikvision wall bracket that is compatible with the bullet cameras, you would need to look for a generic or customised bracket from a CCTV mount supplier like Altron or WEC (although most of their brackets are quite industrial and might not be suitable for a residential install).
