Ok basically where i work we have roughly 48 analogue cctv cameras set up. They were insatlled around 10 years ago when the site was built.
These cameras all run back to 3 boxes in a room and you can see the cameras on the screens attached. What we want to look at doing is having something like hikvision where we can view the cameras from mobile phones etc and let other people log into the system when they require cctv.
So would you rip all the cameras out ( most of them are still decent as some were replaced on 5 years ago) or would you keep them?
If you recommend keeping them how would you set up the remote access?

What we've recommended in the past for scenarios such as casinos where they have a significant number of analogue cameras currently in place but ultimately want to move to IP cameras is a Luxriot software based solution.
Purchase a rack-mount server, with capture cards installed for the appropriate amount of analogue cameras.
Also, with sufficient hard disc space to meet your requirements.
You can run on the new hardware and software immediately, then add IP cameras fairly seamlessly.
You can configure remote access, from Luxriot's Apps too.
Adding capture cards into a rack-mount server tends to provide a more cost-effective solution than using dedicated video encoders to convert the analogue cameras to IP video streams.
There's a free version of the Luxriot CCTV software that you can download and trial.
This provides you with an open solution that's been proven with 4,000+ IP cameras from 100+ manufacturers
We can of course design & quote.
