Why are some of my cameras sending out 3 low res images and some a single high res?

Ok I've had this for a while now and the mystery continues. I have an issue with image formats when a intrusion alert is triggered and sent by email. Why are they different why aren't they all sending single 1920x1080 images via email intruder alerts?

For example.
D1 sends a single image 1920x1080 in the email notifications.
D3 I recently setup started off sending me 1920x1080 single images, its now reverted to sending me 3x 352x288 images.
D8 now also sends me 3x 352x288 in email notifications it has in the past sent a single 1920x1080 image.
D11 sends a single image 1920x1080 in email notifications

There was a known issue with what you describe and there’s a thread regarding it on here somewhere. I’m not sure whether it was ever resolved.

None of your cameras are up to date with firmware versions. Ignore the ‘latest version already’ as it’s incorrect. Even the one at the top specifies an out of date latest version. You’ll want to go through all of the cameras and update them before checking to see if the issue remains. You’ll need to login to each camera and check the ‘firmware version property’ on the system page in order to find the correct file.

For instance you’ll find that D1, 3, 9 and 11 are G5 firmware. D6, 7 and 8 look like G3, and D3 and 4 are R0.

Thanks for your input here will check, i find it strange that D3 for example was giving hi res now low res x3 i really hope that isn't a hikvision 'firmware upgrade' doing this. And also annoyed to read as you say the firmware update is buggy also then it seems. I paid top dollar for this setup, dissappointing their software is so buggy.
How do i access the cameras direct that are connected direct via the NVR they don't have external IPs only dhcp from the NVR.

It's a feature that has never worked properly. I believe it works in some regions but not Europe

You need to enable 'Virtual Host'. Log on to the NVR with a web browser. I forget where it is, I think it's in Network > Advanced > Other. Once you've enabled that you'll find links on the Camera page when logged into the NVR or just login to each camera using http://NVR_IP_Address:650xx where 'xx' is the channel number. For example if your NVR IP is 192.168.0.50 and you want camera 03 - http://192.168.0.50:65003
