Will my DS-2CD2145FWD-IS send notifications via Hik-Connect?

Could someone please help me .
The following camera :
DS-2CD2145FWD-IS
it states it is smart ( in spec guide )but when looking ate the linkage methods it doesn't list the notification to the app ( it does say email )
i really could do with knowing if it would 100% send message to the hik connect app for intrusion detection

That camera definitely will send notifications to Hik-Connect.
You need to tick "notify surveillance centre" in the linkage method options, and follow the rest of the instructions at the end of this guide:

If you're using the camera without an NVR, you'll need to install a microSD card to receive event clips with the notifications.
