Hikvision Easy IP 4.0 Plus camera availability?

Hikvision has launched EasyIP 4.0 Plus series: Hikvision Network Camera Pro Series with ColorVu

But don't see the cameras listed on hikvision's website, let alone any info about pricing etc. Any idea when these will actually be available?
Ahh perfect - just when you get all your Darkfighters swapped to AcuSense, swapped to ColorVu, swapped to G2 ColorVu/AcuSense, swapped to ColorVu Hybrid....along comes the G3 announcement!

I'd guess we'll wait about a year before these are actually available. I recall it seemed an eternity between the announcement of the G2 ColorVu with AcuSense announcement and their availability; it was similar for the hybrid light models.

Looking at the models they're not hugely different feature wise but are the next generation. I'll obviously be sucked in by marketing and replace all of my cameras when they're available! It'll be the DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY/SL I'll be interested in.

I had just replaced all of our cameras with Smart Hybrid (G2H) series, not even a year yet!

Yes, I watched the premiere, but as yet we don't know if/when these will be available in the UK.

I think you'd be surprised that it takes a while to ripple out to the regions after Hikvision HQ make such an announcement.

The Hikvision UK team decides what models we see in the UK.

The Easy IP name was dropped in the UK many years ago, but continued to be used in the USA.

I suspect that we will see models with the technology included, but we just don't know yet what those will be.

Unfortunately, we are never aware of what most manufacturers would term a roadmap that shows the planned new products for the next year or so.

The launch event for Easy IP 4.0:

Dark Fighter 2.0 was launched one month before, and we have not yet managed to discover which of those models will come to the UK:

NB - Note just how busy Hikvision's Corporate YouTube channel is now - an impressive rate of video updates (product releases):

Hikvision launches latest network cameras, opening new chapter in EasyIP 4.0 Plus

Hangzhou, China

Hikvision has announced its latest Network Cameras with ColorVu 3.0 technology, launching a new generation of EasyIP 4.0 Plus. The new Network Cameras with ColorVu 3.0 elevate video security to unprecedented levels, delivering improved image quality, more intelligent functions, better audio capabilities, and enhanced product design and materials.
The new cameras feature significant upgrades in four key aspects, each designed to enhance user experience and security performance.

ColorVu 3.0: AI-powered night vision hits new heights

The new Network Cameras come equipped with ColorVu 3.0, which integrates Hikvision’s advanced AI image processing capabilities, HikAI-ISP. This offers AI noise reduction and dynamic motion trail reduction, significantly enhancing both dynamic image clarity and static details. With it, users can expect vastly superior image quality, even in challenging lighting conditions.

This is possible, thanks to the ability of HikAI-ISP to incorporate massive amounts of data for deep learning training. The number of parameters automatically obtained far exceeds the traditional ISP, which means that the HikAI-ISP is able to perform image restoration with high precision, making every detail better.

Another highlight of ColorVu 3.0 is the 3D LUT technology, which provides accurate color correction and delicate color matching. It not only enhances brightness but, more importantly, restores the true color of things.

Moreover, Hikvision has introduced the innovative AI WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) in its ColorVu 3.0, allowing both the bright and dark areas of an image to be blended naturally. Bright areas are not overexposed, while details in dark areas are not lost. In addition, the AI WDR enables the device to determine whether to turn on or off WDR according to the brightness of the environment, without the need for manual adjustments.

AcuSense 3.0: Intelligence better fits scenarios

With the introduction of AcuSense 3.0, the new cameras simplify video analysis with AcuSearch. This enables image-based video searching with just one click and then displays the relevant video immediately, greatly improving retrieval efficiency. Furthermore, dual upgrades in perimeter protection and Motion Detection 3.0 algorithms have been tailored to better suit overseas application scenarios. The dual upgrades greatly improve the accuracy rate while effectively reducing the false alarms caused by lights hitting stationary cars at night.

Audio 2.0: Crystal-clear audio with intelligence

In addition to upgrading image and intelligence, the Network Cameras with ColorVu 3.0 also bring users a new audio experience. The Audio 2.0, provides better sound reception and speaker effects. The arrayed dual-mic design ensures excellent noise reduction, delivering enhanced vocal clarity and improving overall audio quality. The integration of a Smart PA Speaker extends sound coverage, amplifying the warning effects of alerts and facilitating greater two-way audio communication. With Audio 2.0, therefore, the cameras can better adapt to larger and more complex scenarios which have higher audio requirements.

Motorization 2.0: Dome revolution, no cover removal

In terms of ease of use, the network cameras includes revolutionary products, the PTRZ cameras. These cameras, which feature a transparent cover design, are more efficient and safer thanks to motorized adjustments which eliminate the need for manual tuning and the risk of contamination. In addition, the 5-axis adjustment with supplemental lighting, ensures clear imagery around the clock.

“Hikvision has always been committed to providing high-quality products for the small and medium business market,” said Hikvision’s product manager. “This time, the Network Cameras with ColorVu 3.0 through the comprehensive upgrading of image quality, product design and materials, intelligence, and audio, meeting the needs of customers for high-quality products and helping partners realize business success.”

Hikvision not only prioritizes technological innovation but also carefully selects product materials. The upgraded anti-corrosion protection for all EasyIP 4.0 products ensures a longer-lasting customer experience. Hikvision has also improved its packaging to be more environmentally friendly, trying its best to protect the planet.

I just noticed that firmware for the new ColorVu G3 models is available on the global website - they can't be too far from release somewhere in the world...

While we await availability, here is a bit of mildly interesting info regarding changes in the new ColorVu 3 cameras from a document that popped up in my feed this morning. It appears the new models might use platform H13 rather than the G5 of the existing models.

2 Way Audio Volume Adjustment:
"Different with the old camera's two-way audio function, the new dual-Mic two-way camera supports volume adjustment during two-way audio, and the volume adjustment interface has been uniformly changed from the linkage configuration interface to the [Video/Audio] - [Audio] interface. The default input volume is 50, and the default output volume is 100. And it also supports dual-Mic Environmental Noise Filtering, which is enabled by default."

Time Adjustable White Light On Event:
"The default supplement Light Mode is white light. After switching to smart mode, different with the old smart hybrid camera, the 2XX7G3 smart hybrid camera can be configured with a white light supplement light on duration of 10-300S, with a default of 60S."

Auto WDR (covered during Hikvisions presentation):
"The 2XX7G3 camera supports Auto-WDR, with the default backlight mode being Auto-WDR and a default level of 50. In this mode, the camera will automatically turn on or off WDR based on changes in scene lighting and other factors."

Revised Rotate Mode - Works without disabling Smart Events:
"The 2XX7G3 camera supports rotate mode, which is turned off by default. Different with older models such as the G5 platform, which require switching to normal monitoring mode to support rotate mode, the 2XX7G3 camera still supports rotate mode in perimeter mode."

Image Calibration:
"The fixed focus camera of 2XX7G3 supports image calibration and is turned off by default. If some scenes require image calibration, it is recommended to use level 1 for devices with 4MM lenses. It is recommended to use level 2 for equipment with a 2.8mm lens. It is recommended to use level 3 for equipment
with a 2MM lens; Specific adjustments can be made according to actual scenarios."

This is the title of a YouTube video about a German testing the new G3 camera:

Hikvision ColorVu 3.0AI Kamera Test 2025

Are available in Poland
I don't speak Polish but the images in the video look fantastic. I notice that the demonstration shows Smart Event active in corridor mode which I'd expect to popular for those covering driveways and footpaths.

The film is being tested by a German YouTuber. I live in Poland but we don't have such a cool forum as you have, that's why I'm here. I think it's not a problem?

Not at all - I didn't recognise that it was in German (I just re read your post and can see that you did mention it - I overlooked that)

The film has been on YouTube for some time now but it seems to be the only one. I haven't found any other for over 2 weeks. In my opinion, the image is great. I regret changing my cameras to hybrids

A 2 mm lens?!

A 2 mm lens?!
I didn't notice that. It was a direct copy and paste from the Hikvision information. Perhaps there's a different model variant using the same firmware platform that has a 2mm option - I'd imagine a 'fisheye' type ceiling mount camera.

Makes sense.
