Hi, I have searched the threads looking for an answer but can't find anything so far. Am I correct and saying that the M series NVR's will work with the Microsoft Edge browser straight out the box without using any plug in? I thought I had read this somewhere but can't find it now?

Hi Dan, I'll format the disks and see what happens, the disks have been installed in the NVR for more than a year. I can view recordings from my iPhone using the Hik connect App without a problem. I'll let you know the outcome.

Hi, I will try running IE with admin rights. The latest version of Edge plays live video from my NVR without any problems so far, all my cameras are Hikvision though.

Forgot to say I'm using Windows 10 with latest update.

Hi, I have a DS-7616NI-K2 NVR with the cameras set for continuous recording. When I try and playback from a camera on my PC web browser I get the message 'No file found' however I can play back any of my cameras recordings on my iPhone using the Hik connect App. NVR firmware is 4.40.015 Any ideas?

I use an App called 'Net Analyzer' on my iphone.

I have separate 2.4 & 5.0 wifi networks. I gave each network it's own name, i.e. home 2.4 or home 5.0. Just go into your phone settings adjust setup up the phone so it will only connect to the 5.0 Ghz network.

Hi, the firmware is 2.10.18 from clarecontrols.com. They are an American company that sell a rebadged Hikvision Door Bell. The firmware was provided by the support dept of Broadband Buyer. :)

If you are using Hikvision cameras? you can use the phone app to see what the camera is seeing. I set my cameras from up a ladder with my phone.:)

Hi Dan, I have eventually managed to log into the settings page :) I reset the camera numerous times and searched the clarecontrols web site for an eternity until I found an article about recording to an NVR. within the article it mentioned the user name was "clareadmin" for one version. I tried...

It looks like you need to log into the camera with its password to access Remote configuration. This is doing my head in:(
