I have a Hikvision DS7216HQHI k2/p but when attempting to add on HIK connect I can scan or enter required info and get the message device added to account 07...........06 which is not my account number
I cannot contact the seller as he now lives in Saudi Arabia
How can I solve this problem please the DVR works very well except cannot add to Hik-connect

Whether you can fix this will depend on the current firmware version and whether you have the admin password for the DVR. You should be able to go into the menu on the DVR and unbind the Hik-Connect account from the Network settings > Platform Access page. Alternatively you may be able to do an unbind using the freely downloadable SADP tool. If you don’t have the admin password you’d have to get that reset first.
