Hiya,
a recent virgin router has thrown my home CCTV system into disarray.
I;m running various CCTV units, hardwired into a HikVision NVR
I am using 'IP Cam' to view my cctv on my phone/mobile
All cameras were working prior to virgin router upgrade
now 1 of the 6 refuses to be recognised on my phone, the remaining 5 - no issues - i have 1 troublesome unit There are no issues viewing the feed when a monitor is directly takgin a feed from the NVR, so I know it works. I have reset the camera multiple times
From a config persepective I'm enabling
http, 80
rtsp 554
HTTPS 443
server 8000
Static IP using the following
IP 192.168.254.16
Sub 255.255.255.0
default Gateway 192.168.254.1
preferred DNS 192.168.1.1
(I'm using a virgin router in modem mode which is why i have a '1' subnet as opposed to a '0'
To the best of my knowledge I am set up the camera 'exactly' the same oas others both on the NVR and in the mobile app - obviously I am doing something wrong
any help appreciated
