Would you happen to know where we can find change logs for the firmware? I'm running 5.5.800 build 210628 on a few G3 cameras, and 5.5.801 build 211105 on a couple of other G3 cameras.
Right now, all of these are current on different parts of Hikvision's firmware websites:

Edit: The firmware portal was updated and 5.5.820 has been removed from the G3 DS-2CD2X87G2 and G3 DS-2CD2XX6,2XX7G2 sections. As of December 22, 2022, the newest firmware is still 5.5.801.
5.5.820 now only exists in the DS-2CD3XX6G2,3XX7G2 sections. The change notes for it still say it will work for the DS-2CD2087G2-L and DS-2CD2347G2-L but my cameras will not upgrade from 5.5.801 to 5.5.820.

We would recommend updating one of the cameras that is running v5.5.801 to the latest v5.5.820 and see how you get on.
If you run into any issues you can try and downgrade back to v5.5.801 and leave the rest of the cameras on v5.5.801, but if you don't have any issues with v5.5.820 you can update all the cameras to that version.
Unfortunately, Hikvision is patchy when it comes to publishing release notes/change logs. I can't find any notes for v800 or v801, but this is likely because v5.5.800 was a security patch that didn't do anything other than fix a reported security issue. Also, the G3 models have now been replaced by the (C) G5 firmware models, so the G3 firmware is unlikely to include any major updates going forward, it will on be bug fixes and security patches.

On the 5.5.820 release notes, the "Supported Product List" lists:
DS-2CD2087G2-L(U) and DS-2CD2047G2-L(U).
Which is clearly incorrect.

this was the direct download URL for the .820 for the 2xxx non-(C) model.
