I have recently set up my DS-2DE7A432IWG1-E camera, and while it is running well, I would like more information regarding the specific parameters for its adjustment.

Is there a chart or detailed explanation available for the settings listed below? I am trying to optimize the night vision performance, but switching between "Low Illumination," "Night", "Outdoor," and "Day" modes does not seem to make a noticeable difference.

I would appreciate any guidance or documentation you can provide to help me better configure these settings.

On Smart Tracking when you have Other (if Other is for Cat, Dog, Fox, Deer ect?) set the Smart tracking doesn't lock-on and track, is there something i am missing, example is a fox activated the Smart event and was recorded but not tracked.

Sorry if i am covering old ground and if so just point me at the relevent post please.

Cheers, Dave.

There is no chart or explanation. Those modes are simply friendly names for a saved set of image parameters. Each of those image parameters in those modes can be manually adjusted and saved to suit requirements - they're just examples. You could set them however you want and schedule them to switch by time, or it's possible to apply a schedule based on sunset/sunrise with offset using the utility that @johnfitzy created.

Does anyone know please...
