Just purchased a second hand (But supposedly brand new) DS-7616NI-K1 NVR. Upon arrival, it reports firmware version V4.72.107, Build 220914. What has me confused is the different hardware versions, specifically (B), (C), etc.
My NVR states 'Hardware Version: B-R-K9B2-00', which made me wonder if this was a (B) type unit. However, looking on the Hikvision Firmware Portal, the latest firmware version for the (B) version is 4.30.097. (See Here). I can only see V4.72.xxx under the section for (C) type NVR's, and even here, the firmware does not quite match. See below details of my NVR, hoping someone can help me identify the unit and point me in the direction of correct firmware. I believe the 'RR' in the serial means 'Region Unspecified', not sure if this is relevant when selecting firmware?

I have managed this previously with standalone IP cameras, however when trying the same with the NVR, it gets stuck at 20% Initializing for a few seconds, and then shows as 'Abnormal'. Was considering trying a different firmware version, but I am seriously scared of bricking the unit!
