Firmware Upgrades in order

Hey guys. Just to be clear. Do camera firmware's definitely have to be installed in order?

I have a DS-2CD2185FWD-I on V5.5.53 build 180802. I want to upgrade it to 5.6.3. Can I go direct, or do I need to upgrade to each and every subversion first?

As an ex electronics design engineer: There‘s no reason why you can‘t go direct.

current latest is V5.6.5 build 20200316 from what I can see.

Thanks IED. I have subsequently done some more research on the 5.6.X firmware's , looks like people are having significant issues with it:

SOLVED: Do not upgrade to 5.6.0!!! Much worser exposure/focus performance

I own a Hikvision camera. Today I decided to upgrade it from 5.5.3 to 5.6.0 and noticed that now it's night vision is very poor. Everything is much darker, "slow shutter" doesn't work and the focus can't keep hold of things. On top of that I can't downgrade back to 5.5.3 from 5.6.0.

The problems you’ve linked to appear to be for a PTZ camera.
I’m using V5.6.5 build 20200316 on my G1 Colorvu cameras and am not having any issues.
Yours is also a G1 platform.
Although the Firmware numbering may be similar the firmware will be different as PTZ’s are a different platform.
