Hello everyone , just wondering if anyone could help at all. I had an HDD Exception error this morning (which I had a couple of months ago) so im guessing it cant be the HDD again (Seagate Skyhawk 4TB) , I have turned off/on the NVR from the wall and now the HDD Exception has gone but Camera 2 is offline. What would people recommend to try and fix this? Thanks.

**TO ADD** I have unplugged Camera 2 and plugged back into NVR and now everything seems to be working fine , I'll see how it goes before adding an update. Just a bit confused as to why I have had this happen twice within the space of a couple of months but my mate who has exactly same camera/nvr/hdd hasn't had one issue. Thanks

I tagged you in a post several months ago (search 'return of the fans'). That NVR without a fan has a known issue with HDD failure. I'd recommend you take the NVR and HDD back where you got it (YESSS) and see if they'll fix it under warranty (I take it they gave you a new HDD when the first one failed?). You'll may get your NVR back with a fan in it unfortunately, but that has been determined to be the fix and all models now ship with a fan again.

Ah sorry mate I haven't seen it , ill take a look now, ive never noticed no fans in it tbh I just put the HDD in and put the lid on lol, I have my NVR in the boiler cupboard on the landing so it doesn't get ridiculously hot in there so its a bit strange , I know people with theirs in the loft and don't have a bother. But thanks again mate appreciate it
