Hik-Connect Hik-Connect Android app is showing "Loading pictures failed" for doorbell snapshots?

There are quite a lot of different build versions of the 2.2.76 firmware for the DS-KD8003-IME1(B), are you using the latest, which is V2.2.76 build 240613?

When you have both devices running the latest firmware, factory reset them both, as we've seen this resolve problems before after firmware updates.

Also, delete and add the indoor station to your Hik-Connect account after that, and test with any VPNs on your router / Antivirus briefly disabled, which we have also seen cause this problem.

iOS 18 has just been released too, so I'd recommend updating to that on your iPhone / iPad to see if it helps.

Yes, I'm using the latest 240613.
Have tried everything but still "Loading pictures failed".

I have a NVR, Is it possible to set the NVR to record when someone presses the call button?

You can connect it to the NVR to record as you would a normal camera via its IP address.
It's not possible to set the NVR to record when the call button is pressed, but you can set up motion detection and record based on that, which will give very similar results.

Regarding the "loading pictures failed" error, I'd reach out to your supplier to get them to ask Hikvision Support for recommendations, or you can try contacting your local support team directly.

Having the same problems with my newly installed (DS-KH9510-WTE1(B)'s. Does the unit need a TF Card in to allow the still images of the door station to pull through to the app? I've inserted a 128GB and formatted, still no luck.. All firmwares are up to date etc.

Ive heard stories regarding this problem on all across different indoor stations, and after a long test and firmware changes, even when it starts working it can suddenly stop.

And i came to conclusion i dont have answer for this.

Scenario 1 and Scenario 2 . Same door station, same revision same firmware. Same indoor station same firmware , aprox same date of manufacture.

On Scenario 1 there are images, on scenario 2 there are no images.

Now i noticed with newer firmwares from 2024 that it became more optimized and i rarely get any call that images are missing. Im not smart enough to explain this stupid bug.

I have installed a SD to my indoor. But it seems like the Hikvision APP on the tablet doesn't recognize any SD. I can’t see any pictures on my indoor station either. Do I need to activate the SD card for Hik app?

Indoor station supports only SDHC cards up to 32GB if im not mistaken. Any higher class cards such as SDXC are not supported.

Like ive stated in previous post, SD card is not mandatory for screenshots. They should work regardless, but limited to 50 images which will be overwritten as new one comes.

Good luck

Ok, I thought it was mandatory.
Have done all I can, update firmware, reset units but still no luck

Actually just find the solution.... And its embarrassing.
On indoor device: Settings -> Basic Settings -> Auto Delete Captures/Messages -> Capture active.

It is solution for you, and its really good to hear you are not affected by stupid bug.

But bug still persist on a lot of users who have that turned on.
