Hik-Connect - non US server

Hi All,

I have an old(er) DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P, FW V3.4.93.
I am trying to configure the Hik-Connect server via the Web GUI but it will NOT allow me to change it from 'dev.us.hik-connect.com'.
I want to change it to 'dev.sgp.hik-connect.com' because it is closer but even after entering that, saving the setting and getting a green tick box it doesn't stick.
The next time I go back to the page or reboot it just defaults back to 'dev.us.hik-connect.com'.

Is this URL hardcoded in some of these NVR's?

It shouldn't be, i never had problem with changing the cloud url.

Try upgrading it, maybe you have problem with firmware and saving settings.

No worries, thanks.
I won't ever be upgrading this NVR firmware again, long story but like others have experienced the last time I attempted this it bricked and had to go back to Hik to be recovered.
