Hilook IP camera - can't access it from the browser?

Hi @alex_viorel02

We think that when you've attempted to update the camera to the incorrect firmware it has caused some kind of glitch in the camera that is causing this browser issue.

Usually, we would first recommend that you try flashing the original firmware from before the attempted update (V5.3.8) but as I alluded to in the other thread, I couldn't find the V5.3.8 firmware anywhere.

So the only other thing to try would be to hard reset the camera and see if that clears the glitch left by the incorrect firmware.

To hard reset the camera follow these steps:

- You need to open the MicroSD card cover on the camera
- Unplug/power down the camera
- Hold down the hard reset button under the MicroSD card cover
- Whilst holding the button down, plug the camera back in
- Continue to hold the reset button for 20-30 seconds

After you release the reset button, the camera should then reboot and come online as reset and inactive.

Try reactivating the camera and then check the browser access again.

After reboot, it actives itself.
UPDATE: It's the same thing. I see at IPv6 is nothing. Is that possible?

Ok I've had a similar issue with a new HiLook.

My camera is a IPC-B650H Z

It will not allow access from a browser, so sounds like the same problem.

Set it all up properly.... SADP, assigned new IP, strong password.

In fact it would not even allow access even on default 192.168.1.64 either (before SADP).

However, once set up the camera is on the network (with no clashing IP addresses) the browser login remains no go.

If you download and use HiTools Delivery. Find online cameras within that, find your camera you can then access it that way.

If you click on the set up cog next to the camera, HiTools will open a small browser window within the program itself and you can get all the access as you would have done from a browser.

If I go by Edge, Chrome or any browser it will give the 'notSupported.asp' return and you cannot access the camera configuration etc

If you install HiTools Delivery it will see all your online cameras.

You can see the IPC-650H Z circled.

1. Tick the box on the left

2. Click on the setup cog circled on the right

3. You will get the Config pop-up screen which you would have normally got if you accessed by browser.

4. You can see by the IP address path circled at the bottom of the screen that HiTools delivery does access via the IP address

Click add device to list and then try from there-

Also why in SADP is your IP address for the camera 192.168.1.226 ? Have you changed it manually or are you using DHCP to get the 192.168.1.137?

Have you checked your Network and IP leases? Are you clashing with another existing IP address ?

Try DHCP instead
