Okay guys I'm an idiot. Yesterday I decided I wanted to remove a camera from the views on the HIK-Connect app. I selected delete and okay'ed it when prompted to remove device.
Yep you go it, it removed the complete device.
Easy I thought I'll re-add it. Now when I look to add it back in, it does show but as a local device only. After a bit of faffing around I realised my that the email account I was logging in with was one I'd shared to myself to make things easier. I needed to access things via the original 'master' account the NVR was registered with.
So the next step was to log into www.Hik-Connect.com and generate a new share and add it. I had recorded various user-names I'd used in the past. I looked to log in with each one. These were either plain text usernames, email addresses or phone numbers.
I can log into the NVR UX via web browser and of course on the main box itself.
HELP!

- For each of those that allowed me to log in I get 'Operation failed. The device is added by other users'.
- For some I get 'Incorrect user name or password'
- If the logon fails and I try to reset the password I get 'Invalid Phone Number'.
