Firmware Latest Firmware for Hikvision NVRs & DVRs?

Hi,

Please can someone assist with the appropriate link to the Hikvision firmware portal for these DVR/NVRs?

I have tried looking here but am struggling to know which range these models are in.

DS-7732NI-I4 (current version is v4.61.025 build 220905
DS-6716HQHI-SATA (current version is v1.0.1 build 151216)
DS-6708HQHI-SATA (current version is v1.0.1 build 151216)
DS-7732NI-I4 (current version is v4.40.015 build 200616)
DS-6708HQHI-SATA (current version is V1.0.1 build 151216)
DS-7716NI-I4 (current version is V3.4.95 build 170626)
DS-9632NI-I8 (current version is V4.1.10 build 171107)
DS-9632NI-I8 (current version is V3.4.90 build 160926)

Hi @mikejburden

All your NVRs (DS-77xxxx-I4 & DS-96xxxx-I8) are I-series models so use the same firmware, which can be found HERE

Several of these are quite far behind on firmware, so we would recommend upgrading in steps as explained in your previous thread.

For the models running V3.4.xxx you'll need to go to the Hikvision EU portal to download the older versions including the first V4.1.xxx firmware.

Once you get to V4.1.64 build190119 you can go back to using the UK portal firmware.

For the DVR/Encoders (DS-67xxHQHI) you'll find the latest firmware HERE but as you'll see there is no newer firmware for these devices.

For the model DS-9632NI-I8 I have managed to upgrade as far as v4.22.005 build 191208. The next update available on the EU portal is v4.40.015 build200616. I have tried both this and v4.40.016 build 20200803. However, in both cases, after I click 'upgrade' I get a message saying "upgrading failed". Is there anything else I can do to upgrade on this NVR?

Have you tried these same firmware versions from the UK Download Portal? As I said in my original post, once you've upgraded those NVRs running V3.4.xxx firmware up to V4.1.64 you can switch back to using the UK firmware versions.

Yes, and sadly those files don't work either. I've tried 4.40.015 build 200616 and also then tried 4.50.000 build 210125 and they both give the same error.

Do I need to give up and buy a new NVR?

That is very strange,

The release notes for those v4.40.xxx firmware versions say the DS-96xxx NVRs are supported and I am sure other users have upgraded DS-96xx NVRs beyond those firmware versions before.

It could possibly be a browser issue, there were changes to the browser plug-in support around the release of the v4 firmware so that could be causing problems. Maybe try upgrading the firmware using the Hikvision Batch Configuration Tool instead.

Thank you. I was using Internet Explorer with the Hikvision plugin, but was able to do the later firmware updates using Google Chrome.
