Linking multiple NVRs together?

Hi. A client has an existing 16ch IP system with 16 cameras. They are expanding their site and requested an additional 12 cameras.

Is it possible to link two NVRs together and have all cameras visible on a single NVR as if it was a 32ch one or would it be best to install a new one?

The simplest, most cost-effective solution would be to add both NVRs to Hikvision's free iVMS-4200(V3.9.0.5_E) software which allows you to group the 2 NVRs together so that you can live view & playback cameras from both NVRs at the same time.

Can you tell me what is the other solution, because iVMS is kinda slow and laggy when i logged in my Hik-Connect app and all my NVR's are different locations.
