Live view only works on NVR IP, but not on the camera IP

If I log in to the NVR directly, live view works fine via websocket, however if I log in to any of the 9 cameras, live view does not work on the camera IP, I have installed the suggested plugin but they still don’t work.

The NVR is a 7716, the cameras are all POE from the NVR on the internal subnet, so the links are all in the format NVR IP:65001 etc

The cameras are all reachable by IP, I get the camera login page and log in fine, but live view fails, so I can’t configure some of the settings that don’t show up in iVMS.

Do I need to connect my laptop directly to the NVR for this to work? Or should live view work in this configuration?

I’m sure it used to work but I usually use iVMS and have not added a camera for some time, I thought perhaps this was just an issue with my new camera but on checking, none of the cameras are showing live view, tried with. Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Edge in IE mode, now out of ideas.

Any suggestions please? ~TIA

Can you please confirm the full model numbers for the NVR and cameras?

Can you also confirm the firmware versions that the NVR and cameras are currently using?
 
FIXED!

I spent some time pawing through each and every setting on the camera, out the box the Configuration > Local > Live View Parameter was set to UDP, changed to TCP, now working, go figure.

Thanks Dan, just saw your post after I wrote my previous comment, issue is now fixed.

If it helps anyone else searching for this issue, camera is a DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS2U/SL firmware 5.7.19 build 250218 and NVR is DS-7716NI-I4/16P(B) Firmware 4.61.025 build 220905
