We're using Internet Explorer mode in Edge (Version 131.0.2903.70 (Official build) (64-bit)) on Windows 10 version 22H2
Up until recently we were able to digitally zoom using the microscope icon on the live stream and playback stream.
Some machines retained the ability when others didn't. Then the working machines failed.
In Firefox the digital zoom works in live view, but of course there is no playback view available.

Was there a specific reason you have kept the NVR on this firmware version? Was it a special build firmware to fix a specific issue?

I just wanted to double-check before we recommended updating your firmware because you are currently running a very old firmware (there have been around 17 firmware versions released since the version you are currently on).

No specific reason - besides their being difficult to locate.

Okay,

We would start by updating to V4.22.005_200327 first to see if the NVR will accept that firmware.

If it does and the update is successful, please let us know and we will share the other firmware versions we recommend updating to (to get to the latest version you will have to update in several steps).

Okay,

It's not a major problem to have updated straight to the latest version, we recommend updating step-by-step when users are this many versions behind because there are some substantial feature updates amongst these updates and skipping over them in one large update can cause strange glitches & errors from the NVR.

Once the update has been completed, check all your settings over and make sure NVR is working & configured the way it was before the update.

Which V4.61 firmware did you update to? Was it the latest V4.61.030 Build240123?

Have you tried accessing the NVR with other browsers like Chrome or Firefox? I-series NVRs running the latest firmware should offer better support for accessing them with modern browsers.

You can try downgrading to the V4.22 firmware I linked above, but sometimes you can only downgrade so far so it might not allow you to downgrade to this version.

You can find all the firmware versions for your NVR HERE if you want to try downgrading to different versions.

Try updating through the following firmware versions to try and get the NVR up to the latest version:

V4.61.000 build220507
V4.61.030 Build240123

I can't get to the NVR on the network at the moment - just trying to figure out why in-between interruptions!
