Is there an alternative “CASE fan” for the Hikvision NVR DS-7608NI-M2 / 8P

The one that comes with the NVR a little noisy.

You can get 'silent' ones - just look on Amazon 40mm 2 pin (Noctua or Scythe Mini Kaze). Unfortunately it's not just the noise of the fan itself; primarily the noise is the air flowing through the perforations in the side of the case so as soon as you refit the lid, you'll hear it again (though not as loud). Also if the PSU is internal as it is in the 16 channel version, that PSU also has a fan generating some of the noise.

Yes that one should definitely fit as your link showed I have previously bought it
