Swapping camera location

I have 2 cameras (DS-2CD2385G1-I and DS-2CD2365G1-I) both connected directly to the NVR. If i were to swap the location of the cameras, would i be able to Import the Config File of camera 1 to camera 2 and vice versa?

Hmm, same series, it might work.
But I would not be surprised if it doesn't

If you grabbed the config from each before hand I don't suppose you'll go far wrong.
Worst case you will need to manually re-enter the config.

If you are swapping the location, I’m assuming each camera will use the existing wiring of the other camera.
If so then why not just swap the Ethernet cable at the back of the NVR As well?
Then nothing changes.

The 2 locations are totally different with lighting and scenery. I guess i was just trying to start with settngs close to what i needed and adjust a little. Anyway, when trying to import the config file to the swapped cameras, it just fails.
