When we ask you for a screenshot, it is not a delaying tactic.
When we ask you for a screenshot, we are not trying to fob you off.
When we ask you for a screenshot, we are trying to get information, so that we can help you.
When we ask you for a screenshot, as soon as we receive it we will respond to it quickly, and give you our best advice. We might ask for another screenshot!!!
When we ask you for a screenshot, it is because a picture paints a thousand words.
When we ask you for a screenshot, it is because that picture shows us things that you may never think to mention during a chat on the phone.
When we ask you for a screenshot, it's not really a photograph of your PC, Mac, laptop that we're after (see below).
When we ask you for a screenshot, don't be embarrassed if you don't know how to take a screenshot - please see the links below.

If a young lady member of my team asks you for a screenshot DO NOT ask to speak to her Manager, or "somebody Technical" - she will be able to help you.
She wants to help you.
She helps people like you every day.
And if she feels she needs help, she will get it as soon as she feels she needs it.
If you question her expertise, knowledge, experience, competence - don't be surprised if she seems offended - this is the 21st Century!
Trust us, there is a difference between needing help, and needing a chat; if you could interpret what you have on the screen you wouldn't be calling us.

When we ask you for a screenshot, PLEASE - just send us a screenshot - it takes but a moment.

Honestly, this team has a 99% satisfaction rating, we are not trying to delay you or fob anybody off.

WHAT you mean you have women working at Use-ip, my god what is the world coming too.

On a serious note, i have delt with a young lady at Use -ip and she knew more about my system then i did.

I don't know why some people feel the need to be rude.

Keep up the good work Ladies of use-ip

Well, an anonymous male chauvinist pig has just raised the bar this morning!

He told one of the young ladies in my team that he "needed to speak to a man" because she had "given him false information last week" regarding lenses for rayTec lamps. He'd phoned rayTec subsequently, and discovered he could get a lens for his older model lamp, so she was obviously technically incompetent.

When she explained that she had never spoken to him before, and he was wrong and sexist to assume he needed a man to help him he responded with expletives including the terms "bitch" and "don't give me that sexist bullshit".
She hung-up on him.

To be clear - any of my team has my full support to cut-off rude callers.

He phoned back a few moments after.
I picked-up the phone.
He was an older gentleman.
Using an anonymous phone number.
He asked immediately to speak to a senior manager.
He was in-luck there.

We exchanged a few words, and I invited him to shop elsewhere.

Not the first.
Won't be the last.
Completely unnecessary.
I wish I could prevent it.
We are all here to help.

FYI:
There are an increasing number of topics that I need to ask the young ladies about because they actually have deeper product knowledge in their specialist areas than I do!!!
i.e. I know rayTec make lenses for their IR lamps - that's about all I know on that topic.
If I needed to know more, I know which young lady to ask ;)
BTW She taught rayTec about an anomaly with their PSUs just last week!
