Every time my PC boots with IVMS-4200 installed, it prompts "Do you want to allow this App to make changes to your device?".

Does anyone know :
  1. What is it changing ?
  2. Can this be suppressed, either by pre-approving it, or not allowing the change, but still opening the app ?
It seems it's linked to the IVMS-4200 server which is installed on the PC.

It'll likely be some security setting in Windows that is blocking iVMS's access to something without you authorising it. It's similar on Mac, in that every time you open the app your presented with the pictured warning about accepting incoming network connections and the ability to allow it in the firewall settings.

So you then go into the Firewall and check that setting and find it's already been overridden so you continue to see the message every time you open the app.

On Windows, it will be UAC (User Account Control) and not the firewall, but it's really annoying each time I restart the machine.

Any ideas on how to prevent this, without lowering the UAC control level ?

I don't unfortunately, I'm not a Windows user in general. Perhaps if you 'run as administrator' for that app it may be different.
