I bought two of these cameras because the specs say connectable with smartphone.
The purpose is to install these cameras without connecting to any network and be able to view recordings or pictures with the smartphone through WIFI dongle.
Recording is on a micro SD card only.
I also bought a OTG cable and compatible TP Link TL-WN725N WIFI dongle.
I installed the Wisenet app on my Android smartphone.
I connect to the WIFI of the TP Link and that works fine.
When I scan the QR code with the Wisenet app and ID admin + pass I get can not connect to the network.
If I try manually with the IP address of the dongle same result.
If I try to connect with the Wisenet installation app it works.

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a device managing IP addresses on the network?
To provide your cameras with their own IP addresses.
As you'd probably need to enter the camera's IP address in order to add them manually.

Whilst the QR code method may need an internet connection.

I only have what I have written.
As no more is mentioned in the manual.
I attached what the manual says.

Hi @JohanD

Unfortunately, I think you might have been confused by Hanwha's description of this WiFi feature.

If you look at the text in the screenshot you attached you'll see that the WiFi dongle connection is only for installation and links to a specific Wisenet Installation App.

It is not possible to permanently connect to the camera using this WiFi dongle, a hard-wired connection is required to be able to access the camera with a browser and add it to an NVR or VMS.
