Hello Dan I am attempting to export several hours of video from a hikvision NVR 4.0. It is not working. I tried creating smaller clips. I tried several formats of flash drives.. I tried flash drive 2.0 and 3.0. The files I chose to export will populate in the dropdown menu on the top right corner. The first video file will export up to 40% and then stop. Have you seen this before? Any suggestions?

Just installed a new hikvision kit. one camera fails. I plugged direct into the DVR and no issues, I then tested the cable to the patch panel, no issues. Plugged in again on its arm and it came up but then a few minutes later it went down. I can’t seem to get it up any more and just says no link. If I unplug and plug back in I can see the IR testing but can’t seem to get any connection or status to appear in the NVR.

hi dan, i have a issue about face detection. i have a DS-7716NI-I4 running firmware V4.50.010_210322, in combination with a DS-2CD4B26FWD-IZS Firmware_V5.5.91_210429 and a DS-2CD2327G1-LU firmware 5.6.5_200316.
both cameras have face detection, option is selectable in nvr gui and camera gui, but no faces detected or recorded.

The camera has the menu in English, but the problem is that I connect it to the nvr and it generates language incompatibility,

Hi Dan on your post about shutting down a hikvision NVR, one option is the remote restart and turning off the NVR during restart to effect a safe shutdown.

Hi Dan, I am struggling to get started on my new HIKVISION DS-7608NI-I2/8P 4K 12MP POE NVR 8 i have installed 2no 6 Tbite HD connected all as shown on part 2, but for some reason nothing much showing on display, it is connected with HDMI, a window shows after a while to say shut down in 30 seconds, any idea what to to try next?.

Would you be able to perform a password reset for my HIKVision. I've used the SADP tool and emailed HIKvision without any luck, and also tried TFTP with no luck as well. I have the file (from SADP) and a serial for the box.

If I do get the box reset do the cameras also need reset, not sure if they are IP Cameras or merely cameras that plug into the box. They do plug into the back of the box.

Can you give me some idea how to open garage door with smartphone via Pgm output on Hikvision Hybrid Alarm Central, searched the web but can't find anything, can send pictures of alarm central and garage door switch if needed.

I've only just joined the forum and posted a thread asking if it's possible to mix cameras on the same system but it seems to have disappeared. I have scanned through the forum rules and I don't think I have done anything wrong.
Any ideas?

I have 2.8-12mm 2CD4A26 /P what in your opinion would be the effective plate capture distance when zoom right in, say for a daylight scene senario.

My Hik Connect app is showing all cameras as failes to start playing. Had no issues since installation over 6 months ago up to this point.
the DVR is connected to my LAN, i can ping to it and it got a DHCP address
i tried to change the server not succuss, also change the ip address from DHCP to static IP, and nothing work i still got error code (2*2002) offline

Quick question, I have a DS-2CD4B2(3)FWD-IZS, Having searched the a few avenue's can seem to find a refrence for the No 3 in the part number. Any idea what this means?

Just one other thing, ANPR variants again. Does the presence of /P, mean a camera is able to record plate detail locally to SD card. If so do non /P variants require a NVR to capture the plate info?
