good news, glad it is sorted. don't forget to think about changing your outwood url.
I stopped using port forwarding about 4 years ago after an Indian IP tried accessing my NVR and locked me out. I bought my own router and setup the VPN server, it works really well.

Our router came with a TV package, so it would mean going our own way with that. I like the idear though, but at almost 93 it is anything for a quitert life I'm afraid.

It would still work with bt tv, let me know if you change your mind.
