Firmware Old machine firmware - DS-7732ni-sp

I was donated a few bits and pieces a while ago - and have used everything up for my local charities - but still have one NVR that I’ll now sell off (I know it won’t raise a lot but every little helps) It’s a DS-7732NI-SP 16 channel POE NVR with a big hefty dvd drawer on the front. Currently...

    Hik-Connect Hik-Connect updated to v5.0.0

I also note I've been logged out 3 times since updating a few days ago - wasn't logged out pretty much ever on the previous versions...

    Hik-Connect Hik-Connect updated to v5.0.0

I don't like it either at the moment - You can't collapse your devices as far as I can see - so if you're running a few - you've GOT to see the previews on each machine as you scroll down. I much preferred the list of devices, and then click to open the one I wanted to see. If there's a feedback...

Firmware Is there an easy way to find the correct / latest firmware for Hikvision devices?

I always read it as 'digicap.dave' - picturing some bloke in an office somewhere writing the firmware updates with his unusual headgear on....

Firmware Is there an easy way to find the correct / latest firmware for Hikvision devices?

Having seen how much Hikvision is turning over on that recent post - it might be about time to consolidate the firmware updates and get them into some logical order - but imagine that'll be a mammoth task! So for now we'll have to post on here and ask nicely for a pointer in the right direction...

Firmware Is there an easy way to find the correct / latest firmware for Hikvision devices?

I've noticed that there are some very helpful responses to firmware update requests - and have often had a look through the various portals trying to work out which is the current firmware for some of my own cameras/NVR's and one's I've fitted for others. It feels quite a quagmire of detail when...

AX PRO ALARM DS-PS1-E-WE Wireless sounder batteries?

I've had this bellbox fitted for 18 months - my original batteries are still showing at 100% - just in case you think you're going to be up a ladder every ten minutes changing batteries.

need some advice regrding my camera install wireing

Out of interest if as I think it is - a block of flats/apartments - has the building owner given permission for you to mount the cameras? You might face a hefty bill if you haven't (I'd hope you would have sought permission though of course) I've never tried to attach anything to EPS board...

AX PRO Ax Pro alarm - Master blaster sounder.

I went to get a couple of screen shots tonight - and did get them in the end - but seems like it's a bit buggy. When I looked in my Hik-connect app - the bell box wasn't in my device list whether the unit was armed or disarmed. When I then went over to my Hik-proconnect app (Now called...

    Hik-Connect Forgot password, locked out?

I had the problem recently with a friends NVR - you'll have to get in touch with the people that installed it for you, so that they can request a reset code from Hikvision.

The link you have posted is a 'build yourself a system page' - you don't get the full system and five cameras for the £245 when you first click on it. Look carefully - you have to move the + and - accordingly for what you want. Once you've added the hard drive, cable, tool and selected which...

You'd likely need a decent NVR with 4 x POE channels - NVR's don't come with hard drives as standard, so you'd need to factor one of those in as well - and to use a surveillance drive rather than a normal hard drive. My own experience is with Hikvision - others might have further...

    poe wiring conumdrum

Use a POE switch at the shed webcam end - that will provide power for your camera and allow you to connect other devices. Then at your office end - plug your cable into your regular router. All your PC's etc should go back to working as they did - and your camera should be viewable through it's...

Both of the items you've linked are pretty much the same as my original reply - yes they're camera systems, but you'll likely be disappointed by their performance, access and longevity. You say you live in a flat - do you have permission from the freeholder to mount cameras on the external...

I'll be brutally blunt with you, and it might not be what you want to hear - but it's a fairly basic system built to a budget (a very low budget) - and the longevity of the system can be demonstrated by reading through the multiple one and two star reviews. Yes it's a camera system, yes you'll...

Door Entry How does one remote administer a video intercom?

Is it your own video intercom - or a customers? I don't have experience of the intercom - but I do have experience of accessing remotely if there's a Windows PC at the location that's always on (Might be something that you have - might not be - but I'll share it anyway to give you an option to...

Hik-Connect Delayed notification hik connect app on iPhone 14?

Appears to be a common issue being reported by several users on the forum. I imagine someone at Hikvision will notice soon enough and try and fix it - if not the admin's of the boards here will no doubt send them a message tomorrow to find out what the update is, if it's ongoing.

Urgent - Hikvision Notifications Delayed iPhone

Funnily enough I noticed the same this evening - about an hour's delay - but I haven't updated anything on my phone - so I imagine it'll be at the Hikvision server end. Hopefully someone will notice and put it back the way it was or fix it.

Advice on connecting a garden cctv camera to HikVision DVR

And if the above doesn't work - create a wireless bridge. Use a POE network switch at the outbuilding side to provide power to a POE camera - than connect the network switch to one of a pair of transmitter receivers - with the other transmitter receiver at the house end - then cable that to the...

Day/night settings on a HDTVi (HD analogue) camera (DS-2CE72UF3T-E)?

From my knowledge - I believe the options are either 'off - on - or auto' - So on all the time, off all the time, or on when it gets dark and off when it gets light. I don't think there's the option to have it come on when it detects movement. You'd likely need a different camera model for that...
