iVMS-4200 VCA search greyed out?

Hi
I need motion detection for faster playback tracking. It works on NVR with smart playback by marking motion detections with green bars but it is really buggy, sometimes the player just keep playing the same mark point not playing forward and sometimes I can't set the play cursor to any point in time, it just reverts back to 23:59:59. So now I try to watch on iVMS 4200 but the VCA search is greyed out. What can I do?

Can you please confirm the NVR & camera models you have and what firmware versions they are currently running?

I have a similar problem, the VCA search is greyed out

NVR :
DS-7608NXI-I2/S - Firmware version 4.62.325 build 230810
Cameras:
DS-2CD2143G2-I - Firmware version 5.7.3 build 220112
DS-2CD1343G2-IUF - Firmware version 5.7.12 build 230614

Are you using the latest version of iVMS-4200?

Yes, it is also greyed out on the NVR. It is not greyed out on the web interface, but it doesn`t do anything

I don't think's specifically a problem with this version of iVMS-4200 as I can use that VCA search option on V3.11.6.
I'd try a fresh install of this version, and make sure that you select all of the below features when you do:

When you add your NVR, are you using the admin account and password?
Also, which version of the DS-7608NXI-I2/S do you have? Is it the (B), (C), or (E) version (it should say on the white sticker on the bottom of the unit)?

It is the (E) version. I uninstalled and installed again with no result.
